Back in the Pre-Pandemic days, I attended almost every conference offered, and a frequent question was: Why do you write the genre you write?
The answer is that I wanted to write books that both my mother and my granddaughter would be happy reading. Cozy mysteries exploit strong character development combined with an exciting setting, all without profanity, graphic violence, or gratuitous sex.
Cozy and Traditional Mystery turned out to be what I like best to read as well as write. Although, I have to admit the real test of a series for me is if I pre-order as soon as possible. Using that as criteria, here are my top three favorite series:
I pre-order the next book in the above series without even reading the front matter. I read about fifty books a year, so this is only a small sample.
