Happy Wednesday from Cheryl.
During the pandemic, I couldn’t go to my hairdresser for my regular cut & color appointment. She shut her salon and didn’t plan to open for months. So, I decided to grow out my roots to see what had become of them.
I have been getting my grays covered for a very long time. Like my mother, the little devils started showing up right before I turned thirty. I liked changing shades, adding highlights, lowlights. It was fun.
When I had my author photograph taken, I was in a ginger-apricot phase.
Although I knew I had a lot of white, I didn’t know if it was enough to grow it out and live with the result. If it was even half as lovely as my mother’s silver locks – I wanted to stop the coloring treatments and go natural.
I’m surprised and pleased with the gunmetal ombre color. It’s dramatic, and I love it. What do you think? Should I keep it natural?
