Cheryl Hollon is here waving to all of you. Things are opening up a bit here in St. Petersburg. We’ve been vaccinated and find that we’re comfortable with well-ventilated outside dining. We tried a new place to us. It’s called Bier Boutique. They specialize in scratch-made food, a fine selection of craft beer, inventive cocktails, and fantastic service.
We walked over, and Husband ordered a Peanut Butter Russian while I had a draft brown ale. The starter was a heavenly bowl of candied bacon – precisely heaven. We enjoyed our meal, the setting sun, and the best fish and chips I’ve eaten in a long, long time.
I think that my Webb’s Glass Shop characters will need to stop in for a meal. I know we’ll be back. Do you have a new favorite local restaurant?
If you’re looking for a tropical read, my Webb’s Glass Shop Mysteries are all set along Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, Florida. Independent bookstores need your help during this challenging time. Buy Local.
I will check out this place the next time I’m in St. Pete
The glass shop mystery series looks so fun–and that’s saying something when it’s competing in a posting with bacon and beer picture.
